Our African drummers bring the unique sounds of the African marimba to their drumming workshops and performances.
The spirit and magic of rhythm expressed on drums and percussion instruments cuts through all ages, sexes, religions, races, language and cultures. Our performers are not just world class drummers on Djembe, Dun dun, Surdo Sabar but virtuosos on melodic instruments both exotic and beautiful like the Kora (African Harp), Mbira (Thumb piano), Marimba (African Xylophone) and Didgeridoo.

Workshops
The drum workshop is a riveting cultural experience of traditional West and South African drumming techniques, language, history and rhythms.
The teachers are the real deal who drum for both love and profession. They have a perfect mix of patience and passion, effortlessly imparting their knowledge in a fun and easy way, nurturing students toward understanding the importance and relevance of rhythmic entertainment, team work and group dynamics.
Everyone gets their own djembe drum to learn on. The students acquire confidence, self facilitation, playing, performing and listening skills.
