The Mucky Duck Bush Band is a household name in WA. Predominantly recognised as an Australiana bush band, these professional and dedicated musicians can also perform Irish, English and Scottish folk songs. They perform using a variety of instruments, both acoustically and amplified.
Their main lineup, as a 3-piece, is fiddle, acoustic guitar and bass guitar (or double bass for themed events), with lead vocals and harmonised backing vocals. Harmonica, mandolin and tin whistle areoccasionally used to vary the sound.
Can also be booked as a 4 or 5 piece band, with the extra players adding other folk instruments to the lineup, and can even add a drummer to provide a more youth-friendly sound for large contemporary events.
