Trent-Jean, 24 year old Perth, Western Australian born and based singer/songwriter/producer - creating the soundtrack to the woes and glories of human life. The COVID-launched debut single 'Manchester By The Sea' promoting the message that 'no matter who or where we are, we are never truly alone' achieved music media praise, a feature in the #WhyWontYouDanceWithMe Video Project amassing over 1 million views in under 3weeks, and recently awarded 2nd place in the AAA (Adult Album Alternative) Category at the 2020 Unsigned Only International Songwriting Competition.
Trent began learning Guitar at 10 years old, self-taught drumming at 14 and soon after, started vocal tuition at 15. Pursuing music straight out of year 11 after being accepted as the youngest into WAAPA's Music Artist Course at age 16 and also the youngest to perform at The Ellington Jazz Club.
Trent-Jean's voice has been likened to John Mayer, Matt Corby and Chris Martin. At 18, Trent-Jean achieved his Advanced Diploma of Contemporary Music and was the lead vocalist and songwriter for acoustic-pop/rock band Room For Reason. He was featured on Perth's local radio stations 94.5, 96fm and Nation Wide Airplay on the Australian Top 20 Countdown (Southern Cross Austereo).Now available for solo gigs in Perth, Trent-Jean has supported Josh Pyke, Lisa Mitchell and Australian X-Factor winner Samantha Jade. In Singapore, Trent-Jean performed at the Hard Rock Café and at Molly Malone's Irish Pub.
