Well known for her versatile abilities as an actress, singer, musician, writer and children’s entertainer, Zalia is a well-seasoned, international performer.
Cutting her teeth on blues and rock, Zalia studied theatre, music and musical theatre at WAAPA before earning her stripes abroad, writing and performing her original brand of 21st century cabaret.
Her experience ranges from blues/ rock bands to intimate soirees, classical choirs and acoustic cafe spots. She has performed to over 3000 people at pubs , festivals and events across Australia, Canada, Peru and Aruba.
Performance highlights include singing backing vocals at a Haiti relief concert in Aruba, with Columbian Popstar Nicolas Tovar; musician and vocalist for Peruvian Performance Artist Sandro Alzamora (Peru); Blues at Bridgetown (Loco), Fairbridge (Oracle); Jazz in the Theatre; and performing for the closing celebration at the Fremantle Street Arts Festival.
Her performance as a songstress, guitarist and ukulele player, reflects her love of music. You will enjoy her rendition of blues, ballads, jazz, classic hits and forgotten gems.
