Alana McLean

Alana McLean is a Perth based radio and television presenter. Alana has had over 8 years’ experience in commercial radio – predominately presenting and producing Breakfast shows and content based programs. Currently, Alana can be heard on Southern Cross Austereo - on Mix 94.5 weekends or filling in on the Pete, Matt and Kymba Breakfast show. Alana has had a strong association with SCA, commencing as a casual in 2016 and then returning to guest host The Rush Hour on Mix 94.5 one day per week with Pete Curulli in 2019. She has also presented and produced content for some of Australia’s leading media companies.

Alana recently returned from Melbourne where she was a TV host on Australia’s first Digital News Network, Ticker News - hosting news bulletins, the Breakfast show ‘Jumpstart’ and her own feature program ‘TickHER’ – showcasing the success and achievements of business women and celebrities. Alana was also a guest on the Anj, Rob and Robbo show – discussing hot topics of the day.

Alana has been a guest columnist for PerthNOW – a subsidiary of The West Australian newspaper, a guest Presenter on Channel 7’s Today Tonight, Channel 7’s Telethon – (leading the $15,000 challenge with Australian comedian and star of Kath & Kim, Pete Rowsthorn) and most recently was part of Channel 10’s WA 2022 Racing coverage.

In 2019, Alana was awarded a prestigious ACRA award, the highest award for the Australian Commercial Radio Industry, for her interview with music superstar and Grammy Award winner, David Guetta.
