Since December 2017, Brad holds the position of the Program Director at 6iX in Perth. Responsible for the strategic direction of the station which includes: music, breakfast show direction, creative client solutions, station imaging, promotions, web and social media, APRA reporting, announcers plus go on air when needed.
Brad finished up at 96FM in December 2017 after doing a solo breakfast shift, weekdays 6am – 9am. Previous to this he was the anchor of the Carmen and Fitzi breakfast show, a position held from February 2016 till October 2017.
Since January 2012 Brad was the Assistant Music Director for 96FM, covering all shifts on the station including a stint doing drive with cricket star Brad Hogg (Dec 2015 – Jan 2016). He was also the afternoon announcer (12p – 3p) from 2013 – 2016 and during this time rated #1 All People 10+ in 2013 (Survey 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and 2014 (Survey 4 & 6).
Prior to 96FM, Brad was in Bunbury where he was the workday announcer on the Radiowest Network as well as Music Director and Assistant Content Director. From Aug 2008 to April 2011 he was the breakfast announcer on SEAFM Cairns. In 2008, Brad was nominated for an ACRA for Best Music Presenter (Provincial).
Brad studied full time at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Sydney in 2006 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Radio Broadcasting. He also completed the Graduate Certificate course in Commercial Radio Programming at AFTRS in 2008.
Prior to Brad's radio career, he was a consultant at the Australian Bureau of Statistics for nearly 12 years working mainly on Labor Force surveys. Performed a lot of work for the ACTU and Department of Workplace Relations. Was the National Contact Officer for the Average Weekly Earnings Survey from 2001 - 2005.
