Taking inspiration from traditional New Orleans street music, Junkadelic combines tasty funk grooves with latin and hip-hop flavours to get you down on the D-floor. Sassy Soul vocals from Tani Walker round out the band's explosive original compositions and unique stylized cover arrangements to create brass band music with a bend in it.
The Junkadelic Brass Band have performed at all Perth's major festivals including the Mandja Main Stage of Fairbridge Festival in 2017 and 2018. The band has toured all over regional WA including 4 weeks on the Gascoyne in May Festival, interstate to NSW Illawarra Festival, as well as Queensland and the Northern Territory, and overseas to Seattle, Portland and San Francisco USA.
Roving Consisting of Junkadelic percussion section backed by a brass band ensemble consisting of Sousaphone (tuba), Trombone, Trumpet and saxophone.
