Ruby is an experienced and seasoned performer and one of Perth’s most in-demand female piano and vocal acts. With her appealing set of classics, noughties and top 50, Ruby creates performances with her full piano sound, guitar and soothing vocal tone to cater to all musical tastes. Whether it be performing crowd favourites or blending into the background to create atmosphere, her performances are the type you choose to listen to again and again. Ruby is not only an accomplished performer, but she also holds a Bachelor of Music from Melbourne’s Australian Institute of Music, specialising in Contemporary Performance.

Ruby elevates events by blending her sound and look to suit each individual event, from exclusive and elite events to weddings and piano bars. Her versatility spans to being part of the dynamic wedding and event duos, incorporating guitar, stomp and vocal harmonies that melt together like butter and also fronts her own trio with the addition of percussion and drums.

She is a valued performer of the City of South Perth and City of Canning, performing at events like Sounds In The Park, Seniors Afternoon Tea and Gallery Openings. She often travels to the exquisite Pilbara for minesite performances, creating an uplifting and entertaining atmosphere for the hard working staff, down to the southwest for multiple weddings and events throughout the year and interstate for festivals, most recently Sly Wither’s SideFest in Brisbane (keys & backing vocals for Mal De Mer).

On top of her bookings, Ruby is also a singer-songwriter and producer with the electronic pop project Villah and also sessions for multiple original bands in Perth such as Mal De Mer, Stacey Ann, Alexis Naylor, Brisbane-based artist Cameron Alexander and Melbourne band Square Dance Caller.

From intimate settings as a soloist to being the leader of the party as a frontwoman, you can expect performances full of finesse and style.
